An escaped Miller County inmate has been arrested in Arizona and returned to the Miller County Correctional Facility, but officials were mum about the details of his return.

Demarcus Lamar Cooks, 38, escaped from the Miller County jail along with two other inmates on April 27. It is unknown when he was arrested. However, he was booked back into the Miller County jail on July 14, a jail official said.

Investigator Mike Liles said Cooks waived extradition and was returned from Arizona to Miller County.
