Going door-to-door and asking about stolen ATVs may have helped investigators solve a series of thefts over the past two years, resulting in six arrests.

Detective Paul Nall of the Texarkana, Ark., Police Department investigated two separate ATV thefts at different addresses, which occurred four weeks apart on Wallace Street in Texarkana, Ark.

“He started walking door-to-door asking residents about the thefts. That’s how he got information about a theft ring,” said Texarkana, Ark., police spokeswoman Kristi Mitchell.
