Community members are joining together to collect school supplies for children whose parents may not be able to afford them.

Stuff the Bus, an annual event, will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at area stores, including both Wal-Marts, Kmart, Albertson’s stores, Super One, Sam’s Club and Office Depot.

Community volunteers will be enlisting the community’s help to fill the buses on the premises with needed school supplies.
