A fifth suspect in a theft ring from Little River County was arrested Thursday afternoon by the Ashdown police.

About 2:30 p.m. Thursday, John Eric Little, 21, of Texarkana, Texas, surrendered to Ashdown Detectives Jason Curtis and Doyle Crouch at the Ashdown Police Department.

“It’s an ongoing investigation and he was part of the same group of people involved in the theft ring,” Curtis said.

Little was arrested for felony theft of property. He remains in the Little River County jail with a $7,500 bond.
