Robert Y. Mortensen, a 58-year veteran of the Border Masonic Lodge 672, received the Golden Trowel Award. The award is presented for spreading the cement of brotherly love and friendship and is the highest award a Masonic lodge can bestow on an individual Mason. The award is a symbol of dedicated service without regard to personal recognition or gain.
