A guided kayak tour to discover wildlife and plants will be offered at the Cossatot River State Park during August.

“This will be a guided kayak tour to discover the plants and wildlife in an upper portion of the unique and mystifying Cossatot River,” said interpreter Stephen Walker.

The dates for the tours will be Aug. 7, 9, 14, 21, 23, 28 and 30.

The tours start at 9 a.m. and will end about 3 p.m.
