A former Miller County employee who said he was willing to take a polygraph test about an alleged racist memo written by the county judge has never taken the test, said Prosecutor Brent Haltom.

J.O. Dixon is a former Miller County road department employee who allegedly found a memo dated March 30, 2005, reportedly written by Miller County Judge Roy John McNatt.

The memo alleges McNatt wanted to get “rid of blacks” in the road department.

Dixon had been scheduled for a polygraph test but never arrived at the state police headquarters, said Haltom.
