NEW BOSTON, Texas—Bowie County Commissioners Court appointed election judges Monday for Nov. 8.

In some cases, the party chairs had no recommendations for the presiding and alternate slots. Those vacancies may be filled at a later date.

The precincts with Democratic presiding judges and Republican alternate judges include:

George Edwards, presiding judge, and Harvey Cook, alternate, for Precinct 1A at Lincoln Street School.

Margart Wood, alternate, for Precinct 1B Liberty-Eylau Intermediate School.
