A two-vehicle accident Monday night at U.S. Highway 67 and Kings Highway sent a 22-year-old Texarkana, Texas, man to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Kevin Peacock was taken by LifeNet to CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System. Witnesses at the scene said he was complaining of chest pains.

“We were going east behind him (Peacock) and had the green light. I was wondering why the guy was turning,” said Kristin Niedens, a witness to the accident.
