More woes at Miller jailBrawl adds to image tarnished by escapes

Phillip Cornelius, 17, and Byron Wafer, 40, will have their first judicial appearance today before a judge in Miller County. As a result of the fight, about $900 in damage was done to computer equipment used during the booking process, said Miller County Sheriff’s Deputy Don Thornell. Cornelius used the computer monitor to shield himself from a broomstick allegedly being struck by Wafer. The monitor and other accessories were destroyed, Thornell said....
