Logging equipment stolen from sawmill

About $18,700 worth of logging equipment has been stolen from a sawmill in Horatio, Ark., according to a Sevier County Sheriff’s Department report.

Deputy Cameron Petross said Douglas Jones of Horatio, who owns the property, said during the past month several items have disappeared.

The equipment, valued at $18,700, included a 54-inch brush chipper, two saw trimmers and a Conley two-saw carriage with an automatic set.
