TISD announces key dates for orientation, schedules, start date

Important back-to-school dates for Texarkana Independent School District parents and students have been announced.

“Meet the Teacher” will be held for elementary students and their parents from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 21 at all TISD elementary campuses.

Texas Middle School will host an orientation and schedule pick-up for sixth-graders and their parents on Aug. 19 and Aug. 21.

- Arts & Communications Academy will have an orientation from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 19.

- Health & Human Services Academy will meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 19...
