Nash industrial group makes hire for Slaton Street

The Nash Industrial Development Corp. Board of Directors agreed Tuesday to hire R.K. Construction to build Slaton Street in the Nash Business Park for $459,334.

In other business, the board agreed to loan Ark-La-Tex Drive Shaft Inc. $87,500 in start-up funds, which will be 25 percent of the total estimated $350,000 it will cost to get the business started.
