A suspect is in custody in connection with the assault of an employee at Holiday Cleaners at South Lake Drive and Robison Road in Texarkana, Texas.

The suspect also took an undisclosed amount of money from the business before fleeing on foot behind the store, said Sgt. Shawn Fitzgerald, spokesman for the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.

Jerome Gustave, 17, of Texarkana, Texas, was arrested shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday after TTPD Officer Kelly Dial received information about a vehicle in which Gustave might have been a passenger.
