Members of the Texarkana College Board of Directors Executive Committee were hesitant mid-week about allowing public comments at its next meeting, board president Dr. C. Jack Smith said.

But by Friday, committee members had a different viewpoint.

Following an executive committee meeting Wednesday, Smith said there would be no public forum Aug. 26 and he would have to check with the college’s attorney to be sure.
