The Corps of Engineers is taking applications from hunters 15 and younger who want to participate in a special deer hunt Nov. 1 and 2 at Millwood Lake.

Four permits will be issued for young hunters to experience the outdoors and hunt in an area normally closed to hunting.

Applicants must submit a completed application form to the Corps by Sept. 30. A random drawing will be held Oct. 1 to select the four hunters. Applicants must have parental permission and be accompanied on the days of the hunt by an adult assistant 21 or older.
