The Texarkana, Ark., Historic District Commission agreed Wednesday to table action on a house in the 400 block of Pecan Street.

During its regular meeting, the commission agreed to table action on awarding a certificate of appropriateness to the owner of a home who is seeking to peel aluminum from the façade and restore the home’s original wood frame.

The owner did not attend the meeting to explain his plans.

The commission also agreed to table action on changing regulations governing structures that are demolished by neglect.
