The Texarkana Independent School District Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of another one of its own Tuesday.

After serving six years as a trustee, District 1 Board member Jo McMullen tendered her resignation, which will take effect once the board appoints a replacement.

“The experience has been priceless and I will miss you all,” McMullen said. “These meetings are better than anything on television.”
