An informal question-and-answer session tonight with members of the Texarkana, Texas, City Council may assuage some concerns over a Pleasant Grove rezoning proposal.

Wesley Mahone is asking the city to rezone almost 5 acres in the 5900 block of Pleasant Grove Road between Briarwood Circle and Legacy Apartments, from temporary single family to office and single family residential.

The motion was on the council’s agenda last month but was tabled.

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the proposal 4-2 and the council is expected to approve it Monday.
