The Runnin’ WJ Ranch is getting a student center.

The ranch on Kings Highway provides therapeutic horse riding for children within a 30- to 40-mile radius of Texarkana.

Volunteer church groups have worked daily for several weeks to get the new center’s framework in place.

“We just need to serve the kids better and if we can meet the needs of the kids in a better way, the whole project is well worthwhile,” said the ranch’s executive director, Sam Clem.
