The Texarkana Regional Center on Aging can continue its monthly cooking classes for diabetics thanks to a grant from the 2009 Community Health Grant Program.

The $35,200 grant was awarded to the South Arkansas Center on Aging in collaboration with the Texarkana and South Central centers and will be used to fund “Healthy Cooking for Diabetics” in 16 southern and central Arkansas counties.
