The Texarkana, Texas, City Council will attend a special meeting Tuesday where it is expected to approve the city’s fiscal budget.

Council members have spent several weeks going over expenditures and revenues for each city department and prioritizing needs. Once the budget is adopted, public hearings will be set for a change in the tax rate.
