A Texarkana man arrested for drunken driving at Red River Army Depot pleaded guilty in federal court last Wednesday to being a repeat DWI offender.

U.S. District Judge David Folsom will sentence Jeffrey L. Spillar in a few months after federal probation authorities complete a pre-sentence investigation.

When he was arrested Sept. 1, 2006,, Spillar’s blood-alcohol level was tested twice. The results showed he had levels of .243 and .228, about three times the legal limit of .08 percent.
