The Southwest Center in Texarkana, Texas, will be closed through Monday because it is being used as a hub for services related to Hurricane Gustav.

Parks and Recreation Manager Robby Robertson said evacuees who came to Texarkana will begin using the center as a transport point today, as they start returning to their homes. The location has also been the command post for local emergency management officials.
