A woman who authorities say helped two inmates after they escaped from the Miller County jail in February has pleaded guilty to violating federal law.

Kawanda Johnson, 20, told law enforcement that Jason Thompson and Charley Langston had left for Dallas in a white car when they were actually hiding in a house in Texarkana.

Johnson pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to harboring or concealing an escaped prisoner. She entered her plea before U.S. Magistrate Judge Caroline Craven in the Eastern District of Texas.
