Change of venue in assault trial

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Local attorney Mark Lesher, his wife, Rhonda, and Robert “Red” McCarver were scheduled for a January jury trial after pleading not guilty Thursday to aggravated sexual assault in Red River County.

Visiting District Judge Richard Mays granted a motion for a change of venue, allowing the trial to begin Jan. 12, 2009, at the Collin County courthouse in McKinney, Texas.
