Texarkana College Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing at 1 p.m. Monday on a proposal to increase total tax revenues on real property within its tax base.

The board will meet in the William Patterson Room, Texarkana College Library at 2500 Robison Road.

The proposed rate is $0.089591 per $100 of taxable value, an 8 percent increase above last year’s rate of $0.086996 per $100 of taxable value.

The average taxable value of a residence in the TC district this year is $67,805.
