DA subpoenas college’s records

Federal, state and local agencies investigate retirement program, forgery issues

The Bowie County District Attorney’s office served Texarkana College with subpoenas for records related to college employees retirement program Thursday, authorities confirmed.

“The subpoenas requested huge amounts of information dealing with retirement accounts,” said Bowie County District Attorney Bobby Lockhart.

TC President Frank Coleman said the records of 100 to 110 employees would be released to investigators and must be in Lockhart’s office on or before Sept. 25.
