For three years, DeNorise and Cornell Hamilton have helped the hurting through mission work across the globe using their outreach ministry, Eagles Wings.

Now the couple is ready to implement the ministry on a local level.

The ministry offers a variety of programs such as mentoring, health screening and more.

To introduce it to the community, the ministry will sponsor a conference at 7 p.m. Thursday through Sept. 13 at Evangelist Temple Church, 2319 W. 15th St.
