The Ozan District will host its 13th annual women’s retreat, “Light Shining in a Dark World,” beginning Friday at the Ozan District Center, 1800 Dudley Ave.

Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with the first session beginning at 6:30 p.m. Events for Sept. 13 begin at 8:30 a.m.

Topics for the two-day retreat include “Women of God: Called to Shine,” “Godly Pursuits,” “Desperate to Know Jesus,” “Taking Responsibility,” “Following God’s Plan,” “Life and Light,” “Only a Touch” and “Growing Pains.”
