Nash, Texas, residents will get their chance to voice opinions tonight about the city’s tax rate.

During its regular meeting at City Hall, the Nash City Council will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on the city’s real property tax rate, which is about 32 cents per $100 valuation.

The council also will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal year municipal budget for 2008-09.

In other business, Tom Dowdall of Waste Management Inc. will address the council.
