Providing enriched curriculum to raise Arkansas Benchmark scores, efficient and wise spending of Texarkana, Ark., School District’s tax dollars and bringing transparency to district operations are priorities, said Penny Easley.

“It is not just up to Arkansas High School to turn the test results around,” said Easley of the Arkansas Benchmark scores. “We have to assure that students leave every grade level prepared for the next one. This means we have to have both horizontal and vertical alignment of curriculum and content standards.”
