High compensation for Texarkana, Ark., School District’s faculty and staff, improved school facilities and education of the children are Carol Dalby’s top three priorities.

“Though increasing taxes is never popular, there will come a time when the patrons of our district must decide that we can no longer maintain aging buildings to state standards, that our employees deserve better compensation and that our students are faced with increasing competition globally. When that time comes, I will support a millage increase,” said Dalby, who is running unopposed for her Zone 6 seat.
