The Texarkana Young Lawyers Association announced Tuesday its selection of Nelson Shaw as Lawyer of the Year at a meeting of the Arkansas Bar Association.

“This year’s field of nominees was distinguished by honesty, integrity and professionalism but there was one name that stood out above them all,” said Cory Floyd, president of the Texarkana Young Lawyers Association. “This year’s winner serves as an example to us all. He shows that you can remain a professional and still serve your community.”
