A trial date was recently scheduled for a Hot Springs, Ark., man accused of carrying a “brick” of marijuana inside a backpack near Hope, Ark., last December.

Foronne Omar Lollis, 28, is scheduled for a pretrial hearing Nov. 12 and his trial date will be Dec. 1 in the Hempstead County Courthouse in Hope.

Lollis is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. The charge is a Class B felony with a potential sentence of five to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $50,000.
