St. James Episcopal Church is raising money for the community with its first-ever Charity Night.

The event is 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Regional Arts Center.

Organizations benefiting from the evening include Harvest Texarkana, Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Texarkana Animal Shelter, United Way of Greater Texarkana, Temple Memorial Rehabilitation Center, Operation Christmas Child, American Heart Association and St. James.
