A Sustainable Forestry Initiative program is scheduled for Sept. 20 at the Kellyville Center, just east of Jefferson, Texas.

“The program is a bold approach to sustainable forest management, based on the premise that responsible environmental behavior and sound business decisions can co-exist,” the East Timberland Owners’ Association said in a press release.

The association and the Texas Forest Service will together hold the program at which five presenters will speak.
