Members of the steering committee of the regional water authority tackled the issues of choosing a name, dividing a $400,000 budget and territorial boundaries, when they met Wednesday.

However, the only action taken during the meeting was voting John Jarvis chairman of the committee. The remaining duties were planning to divide the entity’s beginning budget and discussing legislative formation of the organization.
