A memorial service for victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks will be held Saturday in Ashdown at Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas.

The speaker will be Lynn McMasters, who served as a chaplain in New York City for three weeks after the attacks. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and a slide show of the World Trade Center will be shown until the program starts at 10:30 a.m. The program should end by noon.

The event is sponsored by a group called Communities Commemoration Team, whose president is Argie Fondren.
