The area’s annual quartet convention will be 7 p.m. today at the Oaklawn Opry, 124 Oaklawn Village Shopping Center.

The concert is hosted by MasterPeace Quartet, winners of the Four States Gospel Music Association’s Favorite Group of the Year for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Members include tenor Kevin Robinson of Ashdown, Ark.; lead vocalist Tracy Thrasher of Texarkana; bass vocalist Joe Howell of Leary, Texas; and baritone Gavin Barnett of Magnolia, Ark.

Also featured at the musical event will be a local group Southern Grace, and Crosspoint Quartet of Bryant, Ark....
