RED LICK, Texas — With little public opposition voiced during its monthly meeting Thursday, the Red Lick City Council approved the same real property tax rate as last year at 11.5 cents per $100 valuation.

The council also voted for four statewide candidates to serve on the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Poll Board of Trustees. The four are E. Henry Garcia for Place 1, Charles Cox for Place 2, Paul Parker for Place 3 and Ricky C. Childers for Place 4.
