It’s 7:30 a.m. Friday and the smell of bacon is in the air at Texas High School.

Hundreds of students and faculty members, some with painted hair and faces, came out to support their team in its big rivalry game. A sea of Tiger fans in orange shirts cheered their team chanting, “Who you wit’? T-High! Who you wit’? T-High! Who you wit’? T-High!”

Students said the show of support, spirit and school pride was important to the team and could have a bearing on the game’s outcome.
