HONORS

Baylor University recently announced the students earning degrees during summer commencement.

Area students include: Molly DeWare of Jefferson, Texas, Bachelor of Science in family child studies; Robert Rountree of Linden, Texas, Bachelor of Business Administration in finance; and Ashley Henderson, Texarkana, Texas, Master of Arts in museum studies.

Jordan Tate of Nashville, Ark., was recently named as a semifinalist in the 2009 National Merit Scholarship program.
