A crowd of Arkansas High School students yelled “Wooo Pig! Sooiee!” so loud early Friday morning, their hometown rival team, the Texas High School Tigers, were sure to hear.

The pep rally started immediately following the Orange Crush—Tiger Tail Breakfast. Students, teachers and supporters drank their fill of Orange Crush soda and gobbled up 600 Tiger Tails—vanilla and chocolate swirled glazed doughnuts—in hopes of gaining strength to defeat their opponents. The breakfast became a tradition three years ago when the Class of 2007 organized the first one.
