The City of Texarkana, Ark., Advertising and Promotion Commission will meet Monday night to decide whether to designate some leftover funds to a couple of local organizations.

“Basically, there’s an organization or two that have asked for some help after the process went through last fall, so therefore they got left out of the loop. They have presented a request for some support and we have some residual funds form 2008 that we are going to consider awarding them for their late request,” said Mayor Horace Shipp.
