The group Arkansans Unite to Stop New Coal Plant will attend the public hearing Thursday regarding the proposed AEP/SWEPCO power plant near Fulton, Ark.

Prior to the hearing, the anti-coal group will have a band play “no coal music” and display “no coal” posters and T-shirts.

The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope.

The “no coal” group will have a demonstration about 5:30 p.m.
