For the sixth year in a row, the Texarkana Independent School District received a “superior achievement” rating under the Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas.

During its regular meeting Tuesday, the TISD Board of Trustees heard a report about the district’s rating.

“The superior achievement rating is the state’s highest, demonstrating the quality of Texarkana ISD’s financial management and reporting system,” according to a prepared statement released Monday by TISD’s public relations department.
