The Wednesday Music Club will sponsor its first concert of the season, featuring pianist Nathan Knutson at 7:30 p.m. today.

Knutson is the 2007 winner of the National Federation of Music Clubs Young Artist Award in piano. His concerts have been heard across the globe and he is noted as an interpreter of a vast range of musical genres.

In addition to his work as a pianist, Knutson has held several church staff positions as director of music and organist and with his wife Lisa, serves as an advocate for sacred and performing arts.
