One person was hospitalized and another was on the run Monday night after a shooting at a local apartment complex, authorities said.

About 7:30 p.m., gunshots were heard in the Woodlands II apartment complex on College Drive just off Texas Boulevard.

Some witnesses said they heard five gunshots before the shooting stopped. David Williams said he was driving to a friend’s apartment in the complex when he thought he heard gunshots.
