Genoa Central Elementary School students joined a global call for peace, creating Pinwheels for Peace and scattering them across the school’s lawn Monday morning.

Art students in second through fourth grades placed the pinwheels on campus in unison with hundreds of other schools around the world—just a day after the International Day of Peace, Sept. 21.
